Off To Amelia

My Dad having now fully recovered from his heart failure back in August, and the implant surgery in December, we felt that after the tough, cold winter he and my Mum had spent in Pennsylvania, that they needed a holiday.

My Mum doesn’t fly. So we’re leaving in a little while (it’s currently about 5:30 am) on a road trip. We’re taking them (my sister is coming along as well) to Florida for 8 days of beach and (hopefully) sun and warmth, on Amelia Island, just north of Jacksonville.

I’m sure I’ll have quite a lot to share here over the coming week or so. 😉

I also have lots more in mind involving “the Khoury sisters” too. I suppose I’ll get at best only a little written, though. However, I’ve done so much writing in recent weeks, I’ll risk it and “go easy” this coming week and have a brief break myself as well. 🙂
